Let the data speak.

Each and every doctor, dietician, patient, and researcher has a different opinion on what causes and what effectively treats IBS. Some believe strongly in probiotics, others believe in antibiotics, diets, medications, a psychiatric/psychological approach, meditation, and the list goes on. Dieta is different because we don’t believe in any particular theory other than data itself. We believe our job is to report and analyze data objectively, without bias.


Be the product.

The people building our product are avid users of the product ourselves. We wear exercise trackers, drink out of smart water bottles, and take pictures of everything we eat and test the data output on ourselves. Our value proposition to our users is only our data and our user base. We’re asking our users to do the work of tracking their data, so we lead by example as the best users.


Health First.

There are a lot of different goals and metrics we can track and optimize on this journey. Our number one priority is always improving the health and quality of life of our users. We believe everything else (revenue, PR, etc) will follow.


Break the system.

The way that healthcare is today isn’t the way it’s going to be in the future. We believe that in the future we will have even better care, faster, and with fewer barriers based on the country you live in or your ability to pay. We can play a part in making that future happen faster.
